In the aftermath of this horrific incident, our families are still healing, grieving, and working to find peace in the disaster that has swept over us.  Sarah Noguera will be released from the hospital soon to resume her recovery at home and be in close proximity to her husband and children.  4 year old Gabriel Noguera has been released from Oakland Children's Hospital after vital surgeries to his small intestine and spinal cord, and wears a full body brace to support the fusion of his spine.  He will continue to wear this brace for the next 3-6 months, and his activity is extremely limited.  He is not able to return to daycare until the doctor gives him permission.  It's just too dangerous to have him around other children and their movement at this time.  For this reason, Adonis Noguera, his father is taking care and watching him full time, and will not be able to return to work for the duration of his recovery.  Our 5 year old daughter Isabel did not suffer  any physical injuries that we know of from the accident, but her heart is broken by the loss of her Grandma, and emotionally we are all exremely raw and exposed.  Adonis will also be taking care of his wife soon too in the home.  Every limb of Sarah's is broken in some way.  She is not able to bear weight on either of her legs and she will be limited to her bed and wheel chair for the next 6-8 weeks.  We need your support to help keep our family afloat during this time, and to equip our home as a safe haven for recovery for both Gabriel, and Sarah.  Our extended family is divided by nearly 2400 miles, and as we try to support each other, we need help with travel and childcare costs.  Nothing is more important right now than for family to be together.
